Best times to visit
We are thrilled to be your vacation destination this year and look forward to seeing you!
In 2017, Parks Canada expects to celebrate Canada 150 with many new visitors discovering us for the first time.
Whether you are a regular or first-time visitor, to have the best experience, make sure to plan your trip before you head out.
When is Fort Langley National Historic Site busiest?
Certain times tend to be busier than others; if you are planning to visit us during weekdays in May and June between 10 am and 2 pm, you will experience a large number of school groups.
Weekends, holidays and special event days, are especially busy.
Peak visitor hours tend to be between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. If you prefer to experience the more tranquil side of Fort Langley National Historic Site, arrive after 2 p.m.
Site entrance and parking
From May to June 2017, Fort Langley National Historic Site is upgrading its parking lot to improve drainage, traffic flow and underground utilities.
Some areas of the parking lot will be closed during the project and visitors may experience a gravel surface, but plenty of alternate parking will be available. Parks Canada is working to have the project completed in the shoulder season to minimize disruption to visitors this summer.
