Bringing your pet to the park 

Pets are not permitted in most areas of the park. They are only allowed in the developed campgrounds (Mistagance, Wapizagonke and Rivière-à-la-Pêche) and the Parkway corridor, including the rest stops and picnic areas along the Parkway. Follow these recommendations to ensure that you and the other visitors have a safe and pleasant stay.

Note that only one pet is authorized per campsite.

Please note that you must follow these rules at all times: 

• keep your pet on a leash  
• scoop and dispose of your pet’s excrement
• never leave your pet unattended
• ensure that your pet does not annoy other visitors at the park  

Pets are not allowed:

• on trails
• on beaches
• in boats
• in canoe-camping sites
• in backcountry areas
• in public buildings
• in oTENTik tents
• in Domaine Wabenaki-Andrew lodges

Service Animals

Service animals are permitted everywhere in La Mauricie National Park.

• be clearly identified
• be kept on a leash or wear a harness at all times

IMPORTANT: The owner of an animal that has bitten or injured, or that represents a significant risk of aggressive behaviour may be expelled from the park without notice.
