Parks Canada building access
As all Parks Canada employees are required to have a valid ID/access card and subsequent personnel security clearance, it is important that all team members check the expiry date of their cards before heading into their respective workplaces.
If your access ID card has expired, or will expire in the near future, you should follow these steps (on ParksNet) and submit a Jira request through the Security Service Desk relative to your physical work location.
- If an employee’s ID card is expired, their personnel security clearance may also have expired, which would require a personnel security clearance renewal request be submitted and validated before a new card can be issued.
- If you are unable to obtain a new valid ID or access card before requiring access to a Parks Canada site, a temporary access card may be issued on a case by case basis. Please contact:

- Your local Facility Management Officer (FMO) at: WSso-SMTbs@pc.gc.ca for satellite office needs
