Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act
The purpose of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act (PSDPA) is to encourage employees in the public sector to come forward if they believe in good faith that wrongdoing has taken or will take place and to protect them against reprisal when they do so. It also provides a fair and objective process for those against whom allegations are made.
Disclosure of founded cases of wrongdoing
If wrongdoing is found as a result of an internal disclosure made under section 12 of the PSDPA, some information related to the disclosure must be made available to the public on the Open Government portal.
