You may be tired of the white stuff and the nippy temperatures. Let us inspire you with some amazing winter images featuring locations and activities around the proposed Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area.

Last winter Parks Canada worked with photographer Rob Stimpson to capture winter images of Lake Superior for promotional purposes. Many volunteers graciously helped with the project, waking up early to catch sunrise, enduring freezing temperatures, and doing the same activity repeatedly until we got the shot just right. The images represent local talent and feature familiar locations along the top of the great lake. Enjoy some of the images we have placed in a Facebook album. Maybe they will inspire you to get out there before winter ends.
