In particular, we would like to thank the following eight professional chefs from the Algonquin College School of Hospitality and Tourism for testing and revising the recipes in this app. We would also like to thank Dean Michel Savard for involving the Algonquin College School of Hospitality in this project.

Michel holds an MBA with a major in Tourism Development and is a graduate of l’Institut de Tourisme et d’Hotellerie du Quebec. He has spent his entire professional life in the tourism and hospitality industry. As a young man, his introduction to this field took place in Jasper National Parks where he resided for several years and where he met his wife Sharon.

It is in Jasper where Michel developed a real appreciation for our national parks. From skiing the back of Marmot Basin and the ridge at Edith Cavell, to hiking to Watch Tower and touring the Bald Hills, Michel believes that our national parks and national historic sites are a real key part of our national identity and a true gift to future generations.
