How can I get a job with Parks Canada?

The majority of Parks Canada job postings are advertised on the Public Service Commission (PSC) website GC jobs. This site offers government job postings including Parks Canada internal job advertisements and job opportunities open to the public. You may also sign up for e-mail alerts and receive job opportunities as soon as they are posted. Consult Jobs at Parks Canada for more information.

How can I have access to job advertisements?

Sign-in to create a GC jobs account or update your existing account. Any questions regarding the GC job site can be directed to the "Contact us" page on their Website.

Can Parks Canada employees apply for jobs while on leave or during seasonal layoff period?

Yes. You can search and apply anywhere and at any time to both internal and external Parks Canada and federal public service job advertisements through your GC Jobs account, provided that you do the following:

  • prior to going on leave/seasonal layoff, log into your GC jobs account from any computer on the Parks Canada network (work station or telework connection) at least one time.
  • make sure to login to your GC jobs account from a computer on the Parks Canada network at least once a year so your account remains active.
