Bar U Ranch National Historic Site
Open May through September, Bar U Ranch National Historic Site is a 100 km drive southwest of Calgary, Alberta on Highway 22 (also known as The Cowboy Trail). Plan at least a half day to fully experience interpretive programs and to explore the historic ranch core.

Bar U Ranch’s café service has been discontinued. The visitor centre has complimentary coffee, and a variety of snacks for sale at the Gift Shop. Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and find their perfect picnic spot at one of the many picnic tables throughout the site.
