Facilities and services

Facilities and services at York Factory National Historic Site are limited.

There is no electricity and no cell phone or telephone service on site.

Camping locations

Safe camping locations are available in Parks Canada’s fenced compound. There are no accommodations and no meals provided except through tours provided by licensed tour operators.

Accessible facilities

There is limited access for visitors with physical or mobility disabilities. Boardwalks and the main floor of the depot building are wheelchair accessible. Due to shoreline and riverbank conditions there is no wheelchair ramp from the dock to the boardwalk on the site.
