Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site
Cape Spear is a 20-minute drive from downtown St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador. Though the site is accessible year round, visitor services and facilities are only available during the operating season (June to October). Plan on a half-day to explore the lighthouse and Second World War gun battery, and view wildlife and icebergs. Allow a full-day for longer headland hikes.
