Fort McNab National Historic Site
Fort McNab is located on McNabs Island in Halifax, Nova Scotia. McNabs Island is a 25-minute private ferry or boat ride from downtown Halifax. Admission is free. Come prepared with sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, drinking water, and an all-weather jacket.
