- St. Peters Canal National Historic Site: Lake-side
Dine at the southern entrance to the majestic Bras d’Or Lake and you may have a chance to watch the bridge swing open for vessels passing through the canal.

Grenville Street, St. Peter’s
From Highway 4 heading east: turn left before crossing the canal bridge toward 10101 Grenville Street. Follow the driveway down to the lake end of the canal. - St. Peters Canal National Historic Site: Lock-side
Enjoy a peaceful picnic while watching boats pass through the canal lock. Talk to canal staff to learn more about the workings of the canal and about the rich history of the area.

From Highway 4 heading east: turn right onto Toulouse Street and continue until you reach the St. Peters Canal at 160 Toulouse Street. - Strachan’s Cove
