Inuvik Services and Facilities

Inuvik is located on the Mackenzie River approximately 120 kilometres (75 miles) south of Tuktoyaktuk. The town has a population of 3,450 and is the regional service centre for the Western Arctic. A wide variety of services are available, including hotels, restaurants, a hospital, an RCMP detachment, a bank and ATM, and several grocery, hardware and gift stores.
