SMITHS FALLS, ONTARIO, June 29, 2023 – Being in nature provides important physical and mental health benefits, and being outdoors is a great way to maintain your overall health and wellness.
This Canada Day, Parks Canada is pleased to welcome visitors to celebrate the incredible beauty and natural heritage of Canada on the Rideau Canal by offering free lockage for recreational boaters on Canada Day.
The health and safety of visitors, employees, and all Canadians remains of the utmost importance. Parks Canada will continue to follow the advice of public health experts at all places open for visitation.
