Ardgowan National Historic Site
Ardgowan National Historic Site was once the home of Father of Confederation William Henry Pope.
Experience the serenity of the restored Victorian grounds, enjoy a family picnic, or just a leisurely stroll. Although the interior of Ardgowan is utilized as modern office space by Parks Canada, the exterior of the building and the grounds have been restored to resemble their original appearance.
