Canadian Navigable Waters Act

Parks Canada hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport Canada, pursuant to the Canada Waterways Act, for approval of the work described herein and for its site and plans. A submission has been added to the Joint Project Search online registry under the Canada Navigable Waters Act, along with its description. 

Pursuant to subsection 4(1) of the said Act, Parks Canada has filed a notice of minor work, in accordance with the requirements set out on the External Submission Site, on the Joint Project Search online registry (https://recherche-projet-commun.canada.ca/) and under registry number 10591, a description of the following work: 

Rehabilitation of sector doors – Chambly Canal NHS

• Cofferdams (minor works) 

At Chambly Canal, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu
Old Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu
In front of lot number: 4 270 869
