Parks Canada and École en réseau

Parks Canada, in collaboration with École en réseau, is presenting a series of free online workshops that can be shared in the classroom throughout the school year.

Program description

These online workshops cover the concepts of social sciences like geography, history and citizenship education as well as Parks Canada themes such as history, outdoors and nature & heritage conservation.

Each online workshop includes:

An elementary school student listening to an online workshop presented by a Parks Canada guide, alongside other students in his class.
Parks Canada workshops delivered by École en réseau are designed for both elementary and high school students.
  • A dynamic, interactive 30-minute presentation by a Parks Canada guide
  • A 15-minute Q&A session

Target group: elementary grades 1 to 6, and high school, according to the workshop

Languages: English and French

Total length: 45 minutes

Fees: provided for free by Parks Canada and École en réseau

Good to know: some online workshops include pre-workshop and/or post-workshop exercises for students to complete in class.

Mandatory registration: visit the École en réseau website to register for one or more online workshops. Please note that registration closes 24 hours prior to the event.

Please note that all workshops are recorded, so you can watch them at a later time. To do so, you must register for the workshop. Once the workshop has been broadcast, you will receive an email with a link to the recording.
