Meeting from November 15 to 17, 1973: Louis Stephen (Louis-Étienne, according to the baptismal record) St. Laurent himself was designated a historical figure. A plaque was installed in his honor at the entrance of the general store, near the property, at 6790 Louis S. St. Laurent Road, Compton.
Meeting from May 18 to 20, 1974: Louis S. St-Laurent National Historic Site was designated as a place of significant historic heritage value, as it commemorates the birthplace of Canada's former prime minister, Louis S.
