Bulletins

Pursuant to Section 12 (1) of the National Historic Parks General Regulations, the following activities are restricted in the Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site, between November 1 and April 14, and may only be carried out with a permit issued by the Superintendent:

1. Possession of metal detectors;
2. Use of motorized vehicles except for automobiles in Log Cabin Parking Lot*;
3. Special Events, Commercial Filming, Research, Business Activities, and Guiding (including activities conducted by non-profit organizations and charities)**.

*Snowmobiles are exempt but must comply with the winter non-motorized schedule, area closures and restrictions.
