Banff National Park fire management plan

Interested in fire management? We want to hear from you!

Parks Canada is developing a plan to guide fire management in Banff, Kootenay and Yoho national parks. The plan directs the prevention and control of wildfire to protect people, property and landscapes, and the use of fire for meeting ecosystem goals in these national parks, for the next 10 years.

The public engagement program ran from February 6 – April 30, 2019.
