Private program opportunities
In-person workshops are available to community organizations within Edmonton. They generally range between 60 to 90 minutes. A minimum of 15 participants is required.

Wild for Wildlife
Become an expert in Canadian wildlife! In this workshop, learn about wildlife-focused activities and discover how you can protect Canada’s natural places and the critters who live there during your outdoor activities.
Topics covered: Wildlife Safety, Wildlife in the Parks, How to See Wildlife, Keep Wildlife Wild, Invasive Species.
Choose Your Own Winter Adventure
Winter is a time to discover fun new experiences! This cold-weather adaptation of our Choose Your Own Outdoor Adventure workshop will prepare participants to safely enjoy winter activities like skiing, snowshoeing and skating.
Topics covered: Parks Canada Places, Outdoor Activities, How to Visit, What to Wear, Adventure Tips, Nature at Home.
Nature at Night
Available for any audience
Winter nights are long, and those dark winter skies offer some fun nocturnal activities. In this workshop participants will learn how to best observe nighttime wonders like the Northern Lights, starry skies and nocturnal Canadian wildlife while staying safe and warm.
Topics Covered: What to See in the Night Sky, Wildlife at Night, Winter Safety Tips, Night in the City.
A Beary, Berry Good Day
Suitable for English language learners and youth 4-12
An interactive story that will introduce you to bears and their behavior.
