Maligne Lake is known for its canoe camping experiences. Whether you’re planning a relaxing family vacation or embarking on an adventure to the end of the lake, Maligne Lake offers three paddle-in campground options with stunning views: Hidden Cove, Fisherman’s Bay and Coronet Creek.
Honeymoon Lake Campground
Pull into Honeymoon Lake campground to experience the peace and tranquility of the area. Enjoy quiet lakeside strolls or explore the lake on your paddleboard. Honeymoon Lake offers campsites with picnic tables, metal fire rings, outhouses and a natural canoe launch. The campground is the perfect stop after a day exploring the Icefields Parkway.
Snaring River
Pitch your tent next to the river and fall asleep to the sound of rushing water. If you’re looking for a more secluded spot, visit one of the walk-in sites. Snaring campground has outhouses, and metal fire rings. This is one of the more popular campgrounds in Jasper, so plan to arrive early.
