Restricted Activity Order
Pursuant to Section 7(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following activity is hereby prohibited by order of the Superintendent, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve of Canada:
Camping for a period exceeding fourteen (14) days in a calendar year at any one of the following campgrounds:
McDonald (Vancouver Is); Prior Centennial and Beaumont (Pender Is); Sidney Spit (Sidney Is); D’Arcy Island; Isle-de-Lis; Shell Beach, Princess Bay and Arbutus Point (Portland Is); James Bay (Prevost Is); Narvaez Bay (Saturna Is); and Cabbage Island.
The purpose of this order is to help give an equal chance for all visitors to enjoy their national park.
Contravention of this order may result in fines or court prosecution under regulations pursuant to the Canada National Parks Act.
