Mount Revelstoke National Park
By working in collaboration with respected organisations that share our values, Parks Canada is able to better deliver its promise to Canadians to protect and present Canada’s natural and cultural heritage. Working together, towards common goals, we can better preserve these special places and offer unique, inspiring opportunities for Canadians to discover them.
We are proud to be formally collaborating with the following partners:
Local Partners
Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce
Parks Canada partners with the Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre, a branch of the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce, to make information more accessible to visitors. In addition to local area information, the Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre, promotes activities and learning in Mount Revelstoke and Glacier national parks as well as providing trail maps and trip planning tools for all seasons. The Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre is the one-stop location for information on what’s happening in the area, which is known for its first class outdoor adventures.
Revelstoke Museum and Archives
The Revelstoke Museum and Archives and Parks Canada collaborate to tell the stories that shaped Rogers Pass National Historic Site and Mount Revelstoke and Glacier national parks. Parks Canada and the Revelstoke Museum and Archives bring the past to life and work to increase the awareness, understanding and appreciation of our protected places in the Columbia mountains region.
The Revelstoke Museum and Archives celebrates the history and heritage of Revelstoke and district by collecting, preserving, documenting and interpreting the artifacts, records and stories of the region in a public community museum.
Tourism Golden
Golden is near six national parks, including Glacier and Mount Revelstoke. Parks Canada and Tourism Golden work collaboratively to promote Mount Revelstoke and Glacier national parks and to improve information and services available to visitors. Tourism Golden is the official destination marketing organization for Golden and Kicking Horse Country in British Columbia. Not only is Golden a place of spectacular scenery but it is an authentic mountain town offering a rich history and plenty of cultural experiences.
