Yoho National Park   

WHAT: To provide campers with a quiet and enjoyable experience, generator use is only permitted during specified times.

Pursuant to Section 13(a) of the National Parks Camping Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the use of generators is hereby prohibited except from 09:00 - 10:30 and 17:00 - 19:00 daily, by order of the Superintendent.

This prohibition is in effect at the following campgrounds: Takakkaw Falls, Kicking Horse, Monarch, Lake O’Hara and Hoodoo Creek.

PENALTY:  Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
