Welcome to a whole new way of camping. No more squabbles over lost tent pegs, no more struggling to remember which pole goes where. Parks Canada oTENTiks blend the best of camping with A-frame cabins to create a spacious spot for you to enjoy. All of our oTENTiks come standard with three comfy sleeping platforms with space for up to six happy campers, and a table with seating for six. Some oTENTiks also include woodstoves, perfect for those cooler nights. Every oTENTik campsite has an outdoor campfire spot and a picnic table to enjoy.
Check-in procedure:
Winter check-in procedure:
- Check-in time is 3 pm.
- You have received your map and oTENTik door code by email. Have your check-in information with you and go directly to your oTENTik.
During your stay:
- It is important to maintain social (physical) distancing practices while outdoors, this includes the campgrounds, washrooms and shower buildings, on trails, beaches, playgrounds and greenspaces.
- You should limit your camping excursions to people within your own household. Do not congregate in groups outside of your immediate family/ household. This includes not socializing on neighbouring sites.
- Camping rules must be observed. The activities of your campsite must not disturb neighboring groups.
- Campsites that do not observe “bare campsite” policies will have their camping permit cancelled. Please read the campground rules carefully.
Check-out procedure:
- Check-out time is 11 AM SHARP. No late departures please.
- Please check your accommodation carefully when you depart. Lost and found policies will not be observed during the COVID-19.
What to bring:
In addition to your regular camping supplies, please come prepared with the following:
- Cook stove (please be advised that BBQs are no longer available with your accommodation)
- Hand sanitizer
- Large jug for storing water & washing basin/soap (to reduce frequent shared tap use)
- Water shoes for using the shower facility
- Print or have an electronic copy of Wasagaming Campground Map and your check-in information and rules.
Wasagaming oTENTiks feature electric heat, lights and power outlets – perfect for families that like that little extra bit of comfort. We have pet-friendly oTENTiks available for those visiting with furry friends.
Wasagaming - Winter oTENTiks
- 709, 711, 712, 713, 715, 716 year round
- Reservations are highly recommended
- A damage deposit is required at the time of registration
- Maximum 6 people per site with a maximum of 4 adults
- Check-in time: 3:00 pm and check-out time: 11:00 am
- Firewood included with oTENTik reservation
- Heated washroom with showers available
- Electric heater, lights and interior and exterior outlets
- 709 and 711 are pet friendly
Moon Lake – oTENTiks
- Moon Lake Unit 1, 2 and 3 are available year round
- Reservations are highly recommended
- A damage deposit is required at the time of registration
- Maximum 6 people per site with a maximum of 4 adults
- Check-in time: 3:00 pm and check-out time: 11:00 am
- Firewood included with oTENTik reservation
- From mid-October until Spring water is not available at Moon Lake and only a pit-privy washroom is available.
- There is no electricity at Moon Lake oTENTiks. The solar panel at your oTENTik generate electricity for small devie charging/LED light only. Depending on conditions, this may not be reliable.
- Pets are not permitted within the oTENTiks at Moon Lake.
General Information - Summer

Equipment Provided
Inside each tent:
- Sleeping area for up to 6 people - 2 large sleeping platforms with 4 twin mattresses and 1 raised platform with a double mattress.
- A table and seating for 6 people.
- oTENTiks 702, 703, 705, 706, 708, 709, 711, 712, 713, 715, 716 contain a wood stove.
- All oTENTiks now have electricity and include interior lighting, small heater, and tamper-proof outlet.
- Fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Broom and dustpan
- Please note: there is no plumbing or running water in the tents.
On each campsite:
- oTENTiks 706, 713, 715 are accessible for those with mobility impairments.
- oTENTiks 709, 711, 712, 713, 715 have been insulated and available to reserve all year.
- Tent with front deck
- Fire pit
- Picnic table
- Parking for a maximum of 2 vehicles

What to Bring
(This list is not exhaustive)
- Sleeping bags, blankets and pillows (Extra blankets and sleeping bags with a temperature rating of -10° C are recommended in Spring, fall and winter)
- Food, drinks, and a water container
- Cooking equipment, dishes, eating utensils and a cooler
- Slippers or indoor shoes
- Flashlights
- Matches or a lighter for lighting the outdoor fire pit
- Screen tent
- Camping chairs
- Long-burning fire logs and fire-starters are permitted in our woodstove oTENTiks
For Groups
oTENTik sites #702, #703 and #704 are separate from the rest of the oTENTiks and preferable for those wanting to reserve 3 oTENTiks side by side. Maximum of 6 people per oTENTik.
There is a very short walk from the driveway and parking area to the tents.
A Few Rules
In addition to the national park’s camping regulations, Parks Canada oTENTik users must follow a few additional rules:
- For your safety, no food preparation, food or drink storage, eating, drinking, or cooking is allowed inside the tent. Please store all food and related items in your vehicle during your stay.
- Smoking is not permitted within the tents
- Pets are not allowed in the tents
- oTENTiks 709, 711, 727, 729, 730 and 731 are pet friendly.
