Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation – Giizhigoowining

Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation, the successors of the signatories of Treaty 2 maintain authority of IR 61A fishing station on the Northwest shoreline of Clear Lake. If you are interested in landing your boat or using any part of IR 61A, Parks Canada recommends that you contact the Band Administration at 204-625-2004 to seek their written approval.  Parks Canada maintains a positive relationship with Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation and wishes to respect their authority and jurisdiction of IR 61A. We work with their representatives at the Seniors Officials Forum and the Riding Mountain Forum. Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation is also a member of the Coalition of First Nations with Interest in RMNP.
