Just get far enough to escape! This campground provides a simplified frontcountry camping experience with a combination of unserviced and serviced sites with fire pits; Point Wolfe is in the heart of some of Fundy’s most spectacular coastal wilderness.
You have to cross the Point Wolfe covered bridge to access this campground. Truly enchanting! It is located 8 km west of the Park east entrance. Many hiking trails are found here, including one that will take you down on the rugged Fundy shore at the Point Wolfe Beach. The campground has many open sites, while others are in a more forested setting.
There are no playgrounds in this campground, with the Headquarters Area playground being the nearest one.
From November to April, one kitchen shelter is converted to a remote winter group accommodation with wood stoves for heating. Access is a walk, bike or snowshoe in only from the Point Wolfe Road Gate (7.4 km one way). Call 506-887-6000 for more information.
Note: Due to clearance restrictions, access to the campground is limited to a maximum vehicle/equipment length of 7.3 m (24 feet) and a height of 4.4 m (13 feet).
