SUPERINTENDENT'S NOTICE: Restrictions on the use of motorized boats

Pursuant to section 21 and 26 of the National Parks General Regulations, motorized boating is permitted in waters within Kouchibouguac National Park with the following restrictions:
- Night-time boating in park waters is permitted only within marked channels on the Kouchibouguac and Kouchibouguacis rivers.
- Personal watercrafts (“Jet ski”) are prohibited in all park waters.
- Overnight anchoring (mooring) of boats outside the designated lease area of the wharves is prohibited.
- When launching a motorized boat in the park, an approved day-use launching site at Cap Saint-Louis or Loggiecroft wharf must be used.
This prohibition is in effect until March 31st, 2025.
Anyone found in violation of this notice may be prosecuted under Section 24(2) of the Canada National Parks Act.
