Gros Morne National Park
Parks Canada recognizes that being in nature provides important physical and mental health benefits. Going outdoors, including camping overnight, is a great way to maintain health and wellness.
Parks Canada’s reservation service has moved to an updated platform and visitors will now need to sign up for a new user account to make camping reservations at Newfoundland and Labrador’s national park campgrounds.
Gros Morne National Park Campgrounds at a Glance
Gros Morne offers 236 campsites at five Parks Canada campgrounds which are suitable tents, trailer and recreation vehicles. Trout River and Lomond campgrounds are un-serviced, have limited electricity, and do not have electrical hook-ups.

Accessible accommodations
In Gros Morne, we are pleased to offer a number of supports for people and families with additional needs. These include accommodations such as Rustic Cabins for people with sensory processing needs, trails with accessible sections, trained and informed staff, and information kits when you arrive. Every person deserves the opportunity to enjoy our national parks.
Primitive Camping
Primitive campsites are located along several park trails. Facilities at most sites include wooden tent pads, bear-proof food lockers, and pit toilets. Camping permit required. Campfires are not permitted. Carry a stove. Do not rely on fires for cooking, staying warm or drying out. Please reserve and register with park staff.
Private Accommodations and Camping
Accommodations are available from private operators in the nearby communities of Trout River, Woody Point, Glenburnie–Birchy Head–Shoal Brook, Wiltondale, Norris Point, Rocky Harbour and Cow Head.
