Túoch'ee Tué (O’Grady Lake) - Túoch'ee Deé (Natla River)

Your Túoch'ee Deé (Natla River) adventure starts in Nááts’įhch’oh National Park Reserve. Your float plane touches down at Túoch'ee Tué (O’Grady Lake). Most trips get off the plane at a sandy peninsula on the south shore which is in the park. Welcome! The peninsula makes a nice place to sort your gear, and possibly camp before you start your journey down the river. If you are a packrafter coming down from the upper Túoch'ee Deé, you’ll paddle the small portion of Túoch'ee Deé that is in the park – the connector between the two parts of the lake.

Túoch'ee Tué is a culturally important place for the Shúhtaot’ine (Mountain Dene), and is known to them as a good harvesting location for fish and moose. (Please keep your rod packed until you are out of the park, as there are no fishing permits issued in Nááts’įhch’oh National Park Reserve.)
