Nahanni National Park Reserve is an incredible wilderness landscape which sees very few visitors to its ---ranging from thick boreal forest to high alpine glaciers.
But even without visiting, you can enjoy the sounds of Nahanni from the comfort of your own home! There are two MP3 files for each location below:
1) A short, one minute clip of sounds commonly heard in the area; and (if you like what you hear)
2) A longer version to soothe and relax.

Chitú (Yohin Lake) Chitú (Yohin Lake) is a spectacular wetland in the eastern part of the park. It is also an environmentally sensitive site, and as such, visitors cannot go in person. This is a great opportunity to experience this area and hear Yellow Rail, American Bittern, Common Yellowthroat, Chipping Sparrow, LeConte’s Sparrow. |
