Pursuant to Subsection 6(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following activity has been designated as hazardous by the Field Unit Superintendent of Quttinirpaaq National Park: entry into, use of, and travel within Quttinirpaaq National Park.

All park visitors are required to register in person at Tanquary Fiord Station (May to August) or the Iqaluit office prior to entering Quttinirpaaq National Park, and to de-register in person at Tanquary Fiord Station (May to August) or the Iqaluit office, or by telephone, upon completion of their park visit.
