RESTRICTED ACTIVITY

NOTICE: AREA CLOSURE

What: Pursuant to Section 35(1) of the National Parks Fishing Regulations, the following activities are prohibited by order of the Superintendent: 

• Fishing, including catch and release fishing, within the boundaries of Point Pelee National Park of Canada. 

Where: All waters within Point Pelee National Park of Canada.

Why: To protect aquatic species at risk.

Note: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Art. 

Start date: 2022-05-08

End date: Until further notice.
