Parks Canada – Northern Ontario plans to raise $2000 toward the 2013 Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. The final fundraising event is a Christmas Bake Sale, scheduled for Friday, December 13 from 1 to 3pm at our Thunder Bay office. Come help us support the local United Way!

There will be some great Christmas baking for sale and everyone is welcome. Our office is located at 33 Court Street South (South Entrance). We hope you will come out and help us reach our goal for 2013.

To date close to $1700 have been raised by Parks Canada – Northern Ontario staff through on-line bingo, 50-50 draws and silent auctions. Since 1945 Federal Government employees have been participating in the campaign, which is the largest in all of Canada. The Thunder Bay United Way provides funding to 28 agencies and 67 vital services and programs that help change the lives of people in our communities.
