Description of activities

Our guides know the land's ends like the back of their hand. Let them guide you on a hike, ask them your questions about the wildlife and plants, embark on their legendary fishing stories and discover with them the hidden treasures of Forillon's natural and cultural heritage.

This schedule of activities runs from September 15 to October 12.

New activity!

The Observatoire d'oiseaux de Rimouski (Rimouski bird observatory) will be presenting a new activity in the park. Accompanied by an ornithologist from the Observatoire, visitors will have a front-row seat for important scientific monitoring at the park's bird-banding station. It's also an opportunity to get up close and personal with migrating birds.

There are two departures on activity days, at 7:30 am and 9:30 am. Each guided tour lasts 90 minutes.  

Visitors are asked to book their place online.

Date From August 1st: Tuesday to Saturday

Date From September 1st: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays

Time 7:30 am and 9:30 am

Location : L'Anse-aux-Amérindiens banding station, at the entrance to the roundabout

Destination Land's end (activity in French)

Set out and reach mythical Cap-Gaspé – land’s end! Along the way, you’ll discover some mind-boggling natural and cultural treasures. Don’t forget your lunch! Note: The hike is guided along the outbound segment only.

On Tuesday, the activity is offered in both languages (French and English). Saturday, it's offered in French only.

Date Wednesdays and Fridays at 1 pm

Location : Picnic area of L’Anse-aux-Amérindiens (South area)

The Beaver's Turf (activity bilingual on Thursdays)

The beaver, that harwork builder, has more than one secret to reveal. For a while this autumn, he'll be opening the doors of his domain to you. Wear sturdy shoes and bring along a flashlight. Duration: 75 minutes.

Date Mondays (in French), Thursdays (bilingual), and Saturdays (in French) at 4:30 pm

Location: Le Castor parking lot
