Winter Season

Visitors are welcome to visit Grasslands National Park during the winter season. Park trails and the Ecotour Scenic Drive in the West Block remain open year round. Please visit our Trail Conditions page for winter road and trail conditions.

Services are not available from mid October until May 1st annually. The clearing of roads, campsites, trail maintenance, park visitor centres, cooking shelters, and water will not be provided. All visitors must be prepared to be on their own in the park from October to May.
