Prince Albert National Park

Do you like hide and seek? Do you enjoy finding hidden treasure? Then you will love geocaching in Prince Albert National Park.

Geocaching is a modern treasure hunt where you discover the unique natural and cultural heritage of the national park at your own pace. Given the latitudinal and longitudinal co-ordinates, participants use their GPS (Global Positioning System) unit to locate the hidden "cache," a small box with a logbook to record their visit.

The geocaches in Prince Albert National Park share stories about this land and the creatures that live here. Whether this is your first visit or you have been to the park many times, this challenging adventure will introduce you to Prince Albert National Park in a unique way.

To access the co-ordinates for the official geocaches in the park, sign up for a free account at geocaching.com and visit the Prince Albert National Park profile at PANP - Parks Canada or get a pamphlet at the Nature Centre containing the co-ordinates.

Geocaching in any Canadian national park is different than geocaching in other areas. To prevent geocaches from becoming wildlife attractants, trade items are not permitted.
