Migration is a wonderful opportunity to experience the vast diversity of bird life that visit Prince Albert National Park. One of the most unique times to see an amazing variety of waterfowl happens each spring at The Narrows on Waskesiu Lake. A steady current through The Narrows keeps the ice thin throughout the winter. As a result, The Narrows often sees some of the first open water of the season and provides sanctuary for many migratory birds along their journey north each spring. Visit The Narrows on Waskesiu Lake in late April to early May to experience these amazing bird sightings.
