Ivvavik Base Camp awaits

Your journey to Ivvavik Base Camp begins in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, the largest community north of the Arctic Circle in western Canada. Following your orientation and safety briefing with Parks Canada staff, board a Twin Otter bush plane and enjoy the scenic flight over the Mackenzie Delta and British Mountains into Ivvavik National Park.

Cozy accommodations, hot showers, enriching stories told by Inuvialuit cultural hosts, and the chance to see a variety of wildlife combine to make your experience at Ivvavik Base Camp truly unique.
