Topographic Maps

For Firth River trips, 1:250,000 topographic maps are adequate. However, you may want to purchase 1:50,000 scale maps for day hiking during your trip.

The 1:250,000 maps that cover the Firth River from Margaret Lake to Nunaluk Spit are:

  • 117A Blow River
  • 117B Davidson Mountains
  • 117C Demarcation Point
  • 117D Herschel Island

For hiking in Ivvavik, 1:50,000 scale topographic maps of your route are recommended.
