Service Standard
Visitors will receive the service from Parks Canada for which a fee has been paid in respect with the service commitment outlined for each fee type.
The Service Standard only applies to material fees charged by Parks Canada.

Accommodation Fees
Front Country Camping | Service Commitment |

Front Country basic camping per campsite, per night | Visitors will have exclusive use of their assigned campsite from check-in time through to check out time on their departure morning, as agree to in their terms of use. This includes a tent pad or identified flat, level area that will be available for camping equipment with access to toilets / pit privy. |

The campsite is available for the camper’s exclusive use from check-in time on their first night through check out time on their departure morning, as agreed to in their terms of use. This includes a tent pad or identified flat, level area that will be available for camping equipment. Sites will be equipped with some form of bathroom facility (outhouse, pit-privy, thunder box, etc.) |

Northern Park Backcountry Excursion / Camping - Service Commitment |

Visitors will be granted entry, allowed to camp, or both, in the designated location, according to the agreed upon terms and conditions, and subject to the operating hours and seasons at of the location. |
Lockage and Mooring Fees
Service Commitment |

Lockage - One way passage through a lock station during posted times of navigation |
Mooring - An installation where a vessel may be temporarily secured for a specified period of time |
Seasonal lockage permit - Unlimited passage through lock systems during posted times of navigation for non commercial use |
Seasonal lockage permit for canoe or kayak - Unlimited passage for canoes and kayaks through lock systems during posted times of navigation for non commercial use |
Seasonal mooring permit - Unlimited day and overnight mooring where a vessel may be temporarily secured for a specified period of time for non commercial use |
Six-day lockage permit - Six (6) days of lockage (consecutive or not) in a season during posted times of navigation for non commercial use |
Transit lockage permit - Provides one direction travel (one-way travel) through the entire Trent-Severn Waterway or Rideau Canal system during posted times of navigation for non commercial use |
Golf Fees
Service Commitment |

The golf course will be made available for play, within its designed standards, within weather limitations, during posted operational season. |
Hot Springs and Swimming Pool Fees
Service Commitment |
---|
Hot Springs - Access to the Hot Spring(s) and or pool(s) for users during posted operational hours according to terms and conditions of the service. |
Swimming Pool - Access to the pool for users during posted operational hours according to terms and conditions of the service. |
Performance target
No more than 10% of all associated revenues for material fees will be remitted as a result of unmet service standard for material fees.
