Quebec Safe Boating Awareness Week, June 16-22, 2021
It’s Quebec Safe Boating Awareness Week, from June 16 to June 22, 2021. Awareness activities, including courtesy checks, will take place on the weekend of June 18, 19 and 20 at Parks Canada’s historic canals in Quebec thanks to the efforts of several boating partners.
Friday, June 18
- Courtesy checks at the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Canal by the SPVM and the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary – Quebec
- Courtesy checks at Lachine Canal, Saint-Ours Canal, at the entrance and exit of Chambly Canal by the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary
Saturday, June 19
- Courtesy checks at the Lachine Canal at the Lachine Lock by the Inshore Rescue Boat service
- Courtesy checks at the Lachine Canal at the Old Port Lock by the SPVM
Sunday, June 20
- Courtesy checks at the Lachine Canal at the Old Port Lock by the SPVM
- Courtesy checks at the Lachine Canal at the Lachine Lock by the Inshore Rescue Boat service
