Site management

As a federal government property, Monument-Lefebvre National Historic Site of Canada is operated under the provisions of the National Parks Act, Regulations, the Historic Sites and Monuments Act, the Parks Canada Agency Act and Parks Canada's Guiding Principles and Operational Policies.

Parks Canada wishes to ensure public support and to make cooperative agreements that will facilitate the contribution of local communities, the Acadian community, and other organizations and individuals to the protection of the Site and the celebration of its history. The Société du Monument-Lefebvre is a not-for-profit organization with the mission to promote Acadian Heritage and the Acadian Renaissance.

The Société du Monument-Lefebvre delivers visitor services and heritage interpretation programs for Parks Canada at Monument-Lefebvre National Historic Site of Canada.
