Information Centre and Cultural Café
Monument-Lefebvre National Historic Site
The Memramcook Visitor Information Centre is located at the Monument-Lefebvre National Historic Site. It is open year-round and offers information on attractions and accommodations in New Brunswick, as well as on Canada’s national parks in the Atlantic Region. The Centre provides information on local events such as festivals and shows.
Cultural café
Located on the main floor of the building, the Cultural Café offers tea or coffee, cider, craft beer or regional wine and is surrounded by the works of local artists in a century-old building so special that it is designated a National Historic Site of Canada. It's a great place to meet up with friends, take a break, work remotely, create art, knit or even play cards!
The ambiance of the large room where the new café is located has changed dramatically with the recent restoration of its historic wooden floors. This is complemented by unique furnishings made up of a variety of furniture from the past of the former Collège St-Joseph and the Memramcook Institute: a large table, an old work desk, classroom pictures and wooden chairs. Other vintage furniture from the region completes the nice decor.
In the summer months, an outdoor patio is also available.
