KAWARTHA LAKES, ONTARIO – January 22, 2024 – Residents and visitors should exercise extreme caution around the waterway at the Little Bob River Dam, located adjacent to River Park Drive in the community of Bobcaygeon.

The recent cold weather has resulted in ice build-up around the dam’s piers and north wingwall. Parks Canada is monitoring ice conditions and will conduct operations to clear the ice as needed through the remainder of the winter season. As a result, ice conditions in the area may be unpredictable and unsafe.
