HALIBURTON, ONTARIO – December 13, 2023 – Parks Canada would like to advise the public that a temporary load reduction to 5 tonnes and speed reduction to 10km/hr will be in force immediately for the White Lake Road Bridge located in the Municipality of Highlands East connecting Salerno and White Lakes.

Following a routine inspection at the site, it has been determined that repairs are required, necessitating the temporary load reduction as well as a short closure in the near future.

Additional information will be provided on the exact dates of the closure; however, the public is being asked to plan their routes accordingly in advance.
