The 1815 Fort Challenge: It’s time to play!
This activity offered for day camps is a dynamic way to help kids discover history. Come to run. Come to laugh. Come to play!
The Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site is located 40 kilometres from Montreal towards South-West, on the shore of the St-Lawrence River. More than 7000 years of history are under your feet.
On the agenda:
- An adventure in a real fort where the most curious will make exciting discoveries.
- Players have to compete in a series of trials of which the goal is to collect as many keys as possible to increase their chances of opening the treasure chest.
- The activity is led by Parks Canada interpretive guides.

- This essentially play-centred program of activities emphasizes fun, teamwork and pushing one’s limits. Which team – the blue, red, green or yellow team – will open the treasure chest?
- Public: Kids from 6 to 12 years old (adapted course for various age groups)
- Languages offered: French and English
- Period: Dates for the 2023 season to be confirmed
