Reception at the Manor guided tour

Activities:

  • Guided tour of the main floor of Manoir Papineau, the magnificent seigneurial manor once owned by Louis-Joseph Papineau.
  • Guided tour of the gardens.
  • Presentation of the world of Mr. Papineau, politician and seigneur de la Petite-Nation, and the history of his family.
  • Tea tasting.
  • Guide in period costume.

Chic, the Manor guided tour New in 2025

Activities include:

  • Guided tour of Louis-Joseph Papineau’s manor, built in 1848.
  • Presentation of the history of the Papineaus and their magnificent seigneurial residence.
  • Taking part in a fun activity that will teach them the rules of etiquette, 19th-century trends, and the art of tea. They will test their knowledge and discover whether they would have made good bourgeois.

Target audience: youth (ages 12-17)
