Elk Island National Park
The Living Classroom
Bring your students to Elk Island National Park for an engaging out-of-classroom experience and watch the Alberta school curriculum come to life. Experiential learning programs allow students to immerse themselves in nature while exploring the hidden secrets of our ecosystems and learning how to survive as a bison. Elk Island is a perfect location for students to explore bison ecology, adaptations of plants and animals, how ecosystems are interconnected, and the role of Canada’s National Parks in conserving our natural and cultural heritage.
Booking for spring 2025 school programs opens on February 24, 2025.
